EVALUATION VOLUNTEERS

We always need lots of help to run smooth and successful evaluations

1. ON-COURT Evaluators
Note: If you are comfortable with on-court evaluations, please volunteer for this first as the on-court volunteers are our largest need. Some basketball experience (playing or coaching) is required.

Important Guidelines

  • Schedule & Consistency: If you sign up to evaluate a specific group (e.g., U13 Boys), you must stay for the entire session, not just while your child is participating. We need consistency throughout the evaluation process.
  • Evaluating Your Own Child: We try to have parents avoid evaluating their own children. When unavoidable, we will place parents on different courts than their children.
  • Coaches: Past and present coaches already give a lot of time, but please help out here if you can.
  • Youth Volunteers: Older athletes looking for volunteer hours are welcome! We always need rebounders, drill demonstrators, and extra hands to evaluate skill sessions.

How to Sign Up

1. Review the official Evaluation Schedule to find times that work for your calendar.

2. We need at least 6 evaluators per time slot. If your schedule is flexible, please specify how many sessions you are willing to complete.

3. Email Kevin Johnston directly at [email protected] with your available sessions, plus the age group and gender your children are registered for.

*Please note: This is a fluid process. Because the schedule is constantly shifting, confirmations will be sent out as soon as they are finalized.

2. OFF-COURT Administrative, Logistics & First Aid
No Experience Required! These positions are strictly on the administrative side of things and count fully toward fulfilling your family's volunteer requirements.

  • Gym Check-In & Logistics
  • Uniform Sizing Assistance
  • First Aid Support (If you have First Aid certification, please mention this when signing up!)
